Many of us struggle to make conversation or activities fun and profitable Christmas day. Particularly when we are visiting with family or friends we haven’t seen in ages and have little in common.
Here are 10 questions that will be sure to kindle a conversation. It’s ok to be yourself and share about your faith, regardless if your family are believers or not.

1. What’s the best thing that’s happened to you since last Christmas?
2. What was your best Christmas ever? Why?
3. What’s the most meaningful Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
4. What was the most appreciated Christmas gift you’ve ever given?
5. What was your favorite Christmas tradition as a child?
6. What is your favorite Christmas tradition now?
7. What do you do to try to keep Christ in Christmas?
8. Why do you think people started celebrating the birth of Jesus?
9. Do you think the birth of Jesus deserves such a nearly worldwide celebration?
10. Why do you think Jesus came to earth?

    Christa, I will answer some of these of these:

    1.) The best thing that has happened to me since last Christmas has been the growth that the Lord has done in my life. Hands done. He has taught me so much about grace and mercy….it’s amazing!

    2.) The best Christmas ever was the ones my family experienced while Dad was out of work. No, w never want to go through that again, but we saw the Lord in amazing ways in the forms of friends.

    5.) My favorite Christmas tradition has a child was going out to eat on Christmas Eve. We would go somewhere fancy and…um…rather expensive. But now, it isn’t in the budget.

    7.) One thing that my family does to keep Christ in Christmas is giving a gift to Jesus each and every year. It is usually something we want the Lord to work on in us the forthcoming year.
