Gorgeous Party hair

And it only take 3 steps…

 Do:

1. Blow your hair so it’s smooth, then part it in the center. Use a round brush and pull the hair up and away from the head to give it some volume. A light misting of hair spray will help.

2. Soften face-framing pieces with a large-barrel curling iron. Wrap two- to three-inch sections around the barrel and hold each in place for 30 seconds before releasing. Repeat on as many sections as you like, then mist the curls with an aerosol hair spray. Use Hot Rollers if preferred, but loosen gently after roller removal.

3. Grasp a three-inch section of hair at your forehead and gently tease it with a comb—this keeps the pulled-back style from looking severe. Smooth it with your palm, then spritz with hair spray and loosely pin it back (about two inches behind your forehead) with a plain silver or gold clip. Keep shorter bangs from slipping out by misting a clean toothbrush with hair spray and running it over them.

Hey, how about a video showing how to tease hair? I think I have the general idea, but something isn’t quite right. And I don’t want to end up just breaking all my hair!

Hey, I came over here because of the warm cup of coffee blog. I thought I had already subscribed but but I realized that is the ET blog. How exciting to find a Christian blog with beauty tips. I am going to subscribe to this, too. Oh, and I reallly like the Ruffled silk tunic. I’m saving my pennies. I also like the tuxedo dress (but I already bought that.)

  5. Amanda says:

Exact same as Jessica Young (ironically, the name of my best friend, but different person). I’m also a big fan of the ruffled silk tunic!!

Love the hats…love the site. Eye candy. And I love that it is modest clthing choices. I get so sick of seeing “stuff” hanging out …I would much prefer my daughter learn the sexiness of modesty!

    Hi Christa,
I’m visiting from a warm cup of coffee. Thanks so much for doing your part to help us have super cute clothes and still honor the Lord! My favorite piece is your gallery skirt.
I was wondering if you have thought of adding layering tanks with a higher neckline? I can’t seem to find them anywhere.
Bless you, dear sister! Keep the faith!

Hi… my hair is like shoulder length. I’ve always thought that cute and feminine hair is always long. Have any cute looks for shorter hair that is just as dazzling?

    Hello, Christa!

I just wanted to thank you for striving to please the Lord with modest attire…it’s nice to find some skirts that are an appropriate length.

My favorite piece of clothing that you have made would probably be the Minuet Denim Skirt. SO CUTE!!

Anyways, may your day be blessed!

Awesome site! I am loving all your clothing, but need a new dress. I love the kimono dress!

Hi I’m yet another commenter directed here by Sarah Mae’s giveaway! The item I LOVE is the plum tunic! So classy and it looks pretty versatile. BTW, I don’t see the awesome red hat the model is wearing on your homepage. Do you sell it? I love hats but I have the hardest time finding classy (not uber trendy) ones.
