Summer Makeup look #1: Nude
Sometimes the face of beauty can be as simple and sheer as these looks above. Very little makeup is applied, but the overall effect is rather angelic.
How to:
1. Prep skin with moisturizer, blot off excess.
2. Use concealer in spots where needed and blend well.
3. Lightly dust face with a loose translucent powder
4. Lightly groom the brow and fill in with a basic brown eyebrow pencil. (See our next post on How to Shape your brows)
5. With a small shadow brush or sponge tip, define the crease of the eyelid with a basic brown powder eyeshadwo. Also run a light line of shadow along the top and bottom lashline.
6. Lightly wash the yelid with a very hseer, off-white shimmery powder eyeshadow. This is a soft, undefined look that works best when done with the fingertips.
7. Culr the lashes and apply a coat of dar brown mascara, top and bottom. Dark brown will give youa softer, less definied look than black mascara.
8. With a large blush brush, lightly dust soft pink powder blush on to the cheeks, temple and chin.
9. cover the mouth with either a nude lipstick, or a sheer caramel lip gloss.

does this looks still work for people with very dark hair and brows, along with naturally rosy cheeks?
Very pretty, Christa! I tried it, and I love the soft, feminine look. Keep up the great posts!
To Lill- yes, it does…just make sure your lip color isn’t too washed out- we don’t want you looking blah ;p
okay, thanks.
I tried this and I really like it. It looks fab. It’s an easy look, and it does really good for the daytime. Thanks so much for sharing it!!!

Ive been striving for a look like this, thanks for the tips I’ll try it as soon as I get a chance!
one thing, I have a very light pink lip gloss, will it work fine? I have very dark hair and eyes if it makes a difference.
Yes, light pink lipgloss will give a sheer blush to the lips without overkill.
Good way to use what you already have!
