How To Spring Hair Trends: 70s rockabilly
Long hair is definitely the trend…you’ll notice all these trends have long or at least shoulder length hair as their base. This is a great beach look, or relaxed weekend wear- but I wouldn’t style my hair like this for any dressier events.
Do:
-Let hair air dry, or blow dry depending on the silkiness desired.
-Spritz with hair volumizing spray, or thermal hair spray.
-divide hair into small section and use curling iron to curl only the middle of each hair section, leaving the bottom and top curl free.
- Spritz with hair spray for stay-power.

A stylist advised me once that if you want to add some waves/texturize long hair (like in the pictures you showed) spritzing some salt water works. It will only work really well if your hair already has a wavy tendency.
There are products you can buy, but I’m pretty sure something similar could be made at home. (I mean, it’s salt. We all have it.)
hence why we love that beachy waves feel! It makes sense!
Hi Christa, I enjoy reading your tips, and awarded you the sunshine award! http://firstseekhim.blogspot.com/2010/02/award.html
thank you!
John Freida, maker of Frizzease, has a Beach Waves- sea salt product. It works amazingly and smells DIVINE!
I’m growing my hair out {for the first time in a while} and am at a COMPLETE loss at what to do with it. Thanks for posting this….I love it! And it seems easy, too, which is always a +plus+.
